Unfortunately, doing so may have a negative impact on your personal life, as well as your work life. The other option is to make a change. Poor time management will not only negatively effect your personal life, but your work life as well. If you do not know how to properly manage your time, you may get easily distracted. This may result in you wasting company time. If you are caught doing so repeatedly, you may find yourself terminated from your current position. This can also have a negative impact on your personal life, as it may leave your finances in serious trouble.

4 – It Is Something That You Can Only Benefit From

Taking the time to learn and practice successful time management techniques can only benefit you, your work, and your personal relationships. Since no money technically needs to be spent on time management tools or training, you have nothing to lose, but everything to gain. It is also important to ask yourself again the important question of “why not?” Why not improve your life with the learning and practicing of time management techniques?

Once again, it is important to focus on the options that you have when looking to learn and practice proper time management. Creating a set of goals and a task list is easy and free to do. Alarm clocks and timers can also be used to help you make better use of your time. You likely already own a traditional alarm, but your cell phone, computer, and television may also come equipped with alarm clocks as well.

As a reminder, there are a number of other time management tools and techniques that you can easily learn and practice all from the comfort of your own home.

In chapter 2, Faith was mentioned by Mr. Hill as the following: Faith is convincing the subconscious mind that you believe you will receive that for which you ask. It can be developed by repetition of auto suggestion, aka affirmation. Any repeatedly passed suggestions to our mind eventually will become our dominated thoughts.

And the impulse of thoughts will transmute into physical equivalent eventually. The time of process may be determined by the intensity of emotion we add on to our thoughts. The stronger the intensity, the quicker our thoughts will become reality.

However, be careful, the process does not have filters. It will work the same as we have negative thoughts and we generate negative reality. Have you ever met someone who believes that they are cursed, and only bad things ever happen to them?. If you check their case, they tend to have bad luck most of the time. This is all due to the thoughts that they project in their own mind. If we repeat the thoughts we have to ourselves all day, it will materialize.

Therefore in the previous chapter, Mr. Hill gave us the 6 step of success. And the last step requires us to repeat our intension and plans twice a day. This is suggesting to our mind about the new thoughts, the new person and how much money we desire.

The biggest obstacle to achieve faith is to deal with the lack of self-confidence. In the chapter, the self-confidence formula is a review to us. There are 5 steps, and it is the summary for the whole chapter.
After I read this chapter I found I could relate to the concept of auto suggestion and change my mind by repetition. These happen to us every day when we turn on our TV, listen to radio and surfing the internet. The ads message repeats itself over and over again and they try to take a place in our subconscious mind, make us have faith in the product, and once our thoughts accept the message, it is impossible to stop. Thoughts must become things, and we’ll pull out our credit card to make the purchase. It is a very effective method.,how do I know? It is very expensive to place a commercial on TV, and there many merchants that keep doing this. Why? Because it works.

Since we know the power of affirmation, we should use this to our advantage. Use this tool to create a better future for ourselves, develop faith each day towards our goals and build our self confidence. If we do not exercise this skill, other people will, and our benefits won’t be very high on their list. Act today and take the challenge, follow the 6 steps in the previous cheaper. Do the instructions every day until your faith becomes your dominate thoughts and your thoughts will become a reality.

I read this book about 5 years ago. I didn’t pay much attention to study the book, and just scan through the whole book. The theory it offer is much the same as all others self help books. However the main different is Think and grow rich is much older. It was publish in 1938, and you can still easily find new published version at any modern bookstore. What is so special about this book and why people still read it today?

Recently I seen lots of blog post and people recommend this book. They have amazing result after apply the technique mentioned inside. Do people really can think and grow rich? The answer is certain for someone but not for others, but I am going to find out myself. I plan to review this book, chapter by chapter and I’ll blog about the treasures I found. This time I’ll not skip through it. I’ll pay more attention to the message the author want to past to use. It was mention in each cheaper, the secret of success was hidden to the readers. The author did that in purpose and it serves us better when we can find that ourselves.

You can easily find an electronic copy of this book; it is in the public domain now and everyone is free to access the information. I do have a hardcopy myself, which is easy to read and carry around. The other option is download the book and print it. It’s about 258 pages, if you print two pages to one side and doubles sided, it’s only 65 piece of paper.

My car front screen wiper was worn down and only wiped part of the rain water away, so it was very dangerous to drive in the rain as my vision was unclear. So I needed to replace the old with a new and functional wiper. When it comes to cars, I have to up my hands up, I don’t know much about it as for me it’s only a vehicle that takes me from place to place, all I know is stick in the key and turn on the engine put my feet on the accelerator and drive.

I parked my car and walked in the car accessories store and looked for a window wiper. What I found was there were many different types of wipers and I didn’t know which one would fit my car. Therefore I walked back and took a look, and honestly I couldn’t tell the different between the different models. The best solution was to take off the wiper and bring it into the store. With my “can do” attitude, I tried to take that off. However it was much harder than I thought. I wasted about 5 minutes trying my very best to take the wiper down, whilst I could see people around staring at me, on in the end felt silly and gave up.
I went in the store, everyone was busy and one service guy there approached me, this guy looked a bit strange and slow. Can he solve my problem, I asked myself. However at that time I had no choice. I explained what I needed and he came out to the car with me. He looked at the wiper and knew what the problems was and took off the wiper at the middle. I would never have figured out that the secret to taking the wiper off was to take it off from the middle. He took the wiper back to the store and within a minute, he came back with a new wiper. He installed that for me and seemed to be a very easy job for him. The whole new wiper and the service only cost me $12.00. This was lower than the price I expected to pay.

What I’ve learnt out of this is: Get someone to help and do the job if you cannot. The expert in the field can do a better job then you and at a cheaper price too. If you are new to business, do not try to do everything yourself. If you get stuck, ask someone who is more experienced then you. I notice a lot of internet marketing newbies try to be everything themselves. From copy writing to graphic design, handling customer, sale letter writing etc. They end up producing some amateur graphics and poor written sale letters. If you truly want your business to grow fast, try to leverage others expertise. Even if that requires some investment from the beginning. Don’t be afraid to ask for help if you get stuck. If you attend any successful coaching program, one thing that always gets mentioned is visualization. You need to see and feel the positive image of your end goal. Many people under estimate the power of visualization and do not practice this amazing function of the brain.

Here are my tips on how to visualize:
First be clear about what you want, that’s your end result. Put that on paper and try to describe it as detailed as possible. Focus your mind to the final sensory of your goal, for example, you want to be the top sales person, your sensory may be going on stage to collect your prize, shake the CEO’s hand and receive the recognition from a cheering crowd. Notice your emotional change when you are in the sensory. How would you feel when you’re on stage? How would you feel with the crowd cheering for you because you achieved a remarkable result? Always try to capture the emotion. If you could include your five senses while you’re visualizing, that’s even better. What do you smell? What sounds do you hear? What can you see? What texture do you feel?

When I sense an emotional change in my mind and body I want to move accordingly. I know I’ve got the visualization created, but I won’t stay in the positive image I’ve created too long, although it feels great, the maximum time I can be in this state for is just 5 minutes. If you do more 5 minutes, you’ll become a dreamer. After I have created my emotional state, my brain then create a new pathway for my goal to happen, I have more energy and I look at things differently. The work in front of me becomes more enjoyable, and the ides flow more easily to make the challenge happen. The aim of the visualization exercise is to taste the rewards of success in advance, so we get recharged emotionally and can then follow through with the actions accordingly.

If you cannot visualize, I suggest you create your own dream board. Get pictures from books and magazine related to your goal. Just stick them together and place somewhere you’ll see each day. I’ve tried to put a few pictures on my bathroom mirror, so every morning when I brush my teeth, I remind myself what I’m aiming for.

Try to visualize today, it doesn’t cost you anything. Once you start, you will see how visualization could benefit you in getting your goal closer to you.

In order to reach our goals we need to identify what we actually want, take actions, review our strategies and adjust our action according. When we come to review our strategies, having a mentor is the greatest resource and a short cut to success. A mentor will be able to identify your weaknesses and strengths and will help you to step back and look at the big picture of your business with a fresh perspective. Your mentor will also set you a greater challenge with higher goals to aim for. Mentorship to me is very simple, you have to find someone who already produces the result that you want, ask them for help and build a long term coaching relationship. You need to find a person whom you trust and respect, whom is willing to share their experiences and that is also keen to support you.

Here is my experience when I seek a mentor. First I look at people who have the result I want. I am currently focusing on building my internet marketing business; therefore I’ll seek someone who is already successful, already a full time marketer and has their own product. I came up with a list of prospect mentors, and then I find out about their work, doing my research to see whether their style fits in my business model. I was very lucky to find a great internet marketing guru call Alex Jefferys. He became a guru within a very short period of time and he specializes in coaching and mentoring people. My second mentor is called John Thornhill, he is a powerseller on ebay and his classic book 90 days powerseller challenge is all over the internet for free downloading. He runs his own mentoring program as well with. In order for the mentorship to work well, some initiatives are required by you.

1. You are ready to be coached and ready to make the change. When the student is ready, the teacher will show up. If you are not prepared to make the change and feel uncomfortable then please do not bother your mentor. They have other things to do, if they spend time coaching you and you are not teachable, then you are wasting your money and time, so as your mentor

2. Take action on your mentor’s advice. Simple chatting with your mentor will never get any result, after a session identifies your strength and weaknesses. Follow your mentor’s advice and take action to improve whatever you need to improve.

3. Keep following up with your mentor. Tracking and follow up is very important for the mentorship to work, adjust your approach and keep track of what’s working and what’s not.

4. Be thankful to your mentor. Mentorship is a long term relationship; you are counting on someone who is more experienced than you to give you advice. Often after the mentorship, people become business partners.

I’m actively seeking more mentors to improve different fields of my life. I need to pay for some of them but all the money I spend is worthwhile for the benefit I get from it.

What really gives you the drive to get up early and stay up late working? What gets you excited? It is important to identify the factors that motivate you and keep you in business. People may not ask themselves these questions that often, because this requires them to think deeply and to be honest with themselves. Most of the people do not like to think, they like to be told. They would rather spend time to respond to the next stimuli and keep up with the Jones, buying the latest toys, clothes, car etc. They never look inside their heart about what they really need and want. If you fail to identify what motivates you, you will never understand yourself and you will never find true happiness.

Your motivators will give you the energy you need to go against the odds. It will give you the courage to walk out of your comfort zone and do something different. You will learn to have the power to stay in business long enough to reap the rewards.

It is important to know what motivates you as this may not motivate others. Successful marketers know what motivates them and they have also learnt what motivates others. In order to be able to understand yourself make things simple and this will help you to make a decision much quicker and stay with it for longer. With the ability to identify what motivates other people this will help you to trigger their demand for your products and services.

Here are some questions and answers to help identify what motivates you to become an internet marketer.
What is going to motivate you to keep learning? As you first start the learning curve is steep, there are many things to learn and you need to keep up with the latest technology and control your resources. Since I started getting serious about becoming a successful marketer, learning has become my first priority. The idea of being able to keep up and give advice to others is my biggest motivator in learning.

What motivate you to take action and follow through? You may buy a lot of training material but never follow through to complete any one of them. This is the blind spot for internet marketing newbie’s. The courses brought need to be implemented and then the result will show later on. Simply purchasing the latest and biggest course will not make people rich. I committed myself to practicing article writing. I focus on this strategy a lot and the idea of using articles to generate free traffic and branding myself as an expert keeps me going.

What motivates you to walk out from your comfort zone? Doing things differently always generates new results and the results could be very rewarding. I never of thought that I can write a 500 word article per day, but the more I write, the more confident I am becoming at expressing myself. I used to feel uncomfortable when expressing my opinion and I would keep my mouth shut.

Try to analysis yourself in a deeper way, identify what motivate you. Therefore you can have more energy, courage and passion.

I may not have the formula for success but I will be guaranteed to fail if I get close to an ESV.

I believe that we all want prosperity and success in our lives, and that we are forever chasing our dreams and if we work hard we will be able to reap rewards from our hard work. Be aware of Emotion Sucking Vampires (ESV) as they do exist and they live among us sucking on our energy and resources.

Here are a few easy ways to identify an ESV

1. They always ask for help. Consistently they ask for your time and energy to fix their problems. Regardless of the size of their problem, they never want to lift their finger and do something themselves or use their brain to think about resolving their problem. All they want is for you to give up your time helping them as they believe that this is your responsibility.
2. Complain about everything. ESV is never happy with their life or anything in their life. Regardless of how wonderful their life is, they keep thinking that it is not. They constantly enjoy talking about how bad things are in their life or other people’s lives are. Usually their view is pointless and not worth taking into consideration, and you find that they make things up for the sake of making conversations.
3. Victimized and full of self pity. This sounds crazy, but they do this often. They talk like they are the victim of the economy, the society, their friends, and even the weather. They always feel less advantaged than others and that everyone is out to get them. They feel nothing can be done to help them and that the world owes them everything. What’s worse is they feel that they are not responsible for any of their problems.
4. Ungrateful and unthankful. They never have anything nice to say about anything and will never thank you for anything that you do to help them out.
5. Dream killer. This is the natural nature of their thinking pattern, as they like to kill any dreams that you may have. So if you want to make a breakthrough in your life and share the vision you have, please don’t share with an ESV, as all they do is try to suck all your positive energy, pouring cold water into your dream. They try to convince you that you do not deserve to have great things; you can just fit in the mediocrity.

If you meet an ESV, the best advice I can give you is to – Run! Run away from them, you do not need them in your life. If you are not cautious and you start up a conversation with them, you’ll end up consoling them. Although you try to convince them the reality is not that bad and try to cheer them up, they will not listen. All they do is consume your energy and time on something that can’t be fixed. You are better off focusing you’re on your dream. Another thing to watch out for is, ESV is like a contagious infection, the more you hang around with them the more you’ll eventually become one too. Once you become an ESV, I can guarantee you will fail in everything you do.

After you have created your blog or webpage, the next thing to get everything working for your website is you need traffic. It is like the blood of your business. For traditional retail stores, location is the key for walk-in traffic, the more foot traffic around your store the higher the chance you’ve got of someone walking in and making a purchase. The same thing applies to your online website. How do you attract more traffic online? It depends on how many links are connecting to your site. Here are few tips you can use to generate more traffic.

1. Write your own ebook.
Having your own ebook published is the fastest way to grow your business, when you offer your ebook as a free download it lets your customers send it on and share with others. Gradually there will be a lot of back link to your website. Writing an ebook seems a hard task, but it will draw the most targeted customer to your business. Once you have your own ebook, you will be seen as an expert.

2. Write a short report
It could just be a 10 line short report, providing quality content for a particular niche market. You can help to solve their problems and then direct them back to your main site. Write and submit an article to multiple article directories, this strategy is called article marketing. You need to promote yourself as an expert in the specific directory field, and give a different perspective to the topic. There are many article directories online and they demand quality articles to enhance their site. Remember to put in your bio, and call for action. Asking customer to click back to your main website

3. Add their link to your autoresponder
You should have a link on each follow up email, to link them back to your main site and offer.

4. Take part in a forum discussion.
For example, if you are interested in personal development, type in google “personal development forum”. Take part in the discussion, give advice and value, asking questions or interact in the discussion. However do not spam the forum; you’ll be blocked by the administrator if you do so.

5. Contact potential joint venture partners
Find out who is doing the similar things as you do. Instead of being a competitor, try to work a plan together, use each other’s strength in a constructive way. You may do an ad swap with your joint venture partners, so you can tap into their resources.

There are many ways to generate traffic online, but if you are new, try to pick one and master it then move on to the next strategy. Do not give up if you can’t see the immediate effect, always adjust your method and keep improving. Your business will grow gradually if you have consistent effort.
