Your mentor will also set you a greater challenge with higher goals to aim for. Mentorship to me is very simple, you have to find someone who already produces the result that you want, ask them for help and build a long term coaching relationship. You need to find a person whom you trust and respect, whom is willing to share their experiences and that is also keen to support you.
What really gives you the drive to get up early and stay up late working? What gets you excited? It is important to identify the factors that motivate you and keep you in business. People may not ask themselves these questions that often, because this requires them to think deeply and to be honest with themselves. Most of the people do not like to think, they like to be told. They would rather spend time to respond to the next stimuli and keep up with the Jones, buying the latest toys, clothes, car etc. They never look inside their heart about what they really need and want. If you fail to identify what motivates you, you will never understand yourself and you will never find true happiness.
